I just have trouble : undertanding how anyone can keep watching a Starcraft game as it : progresses. It kills my eyes with confusing blandness and gnaws at my soul : with boredom. After 30 seconds, I always move on to something else. : I've played lots of Age of Empires and love it. I figure Starcraft is similar : to that. Is it not? I do not choose to watch AOE unless I'm playing it. : Boring activity to watch over someones shoulder. : I much rather watch an FPS game than an RTS. As Kanbo points out you have to be a fan to understand it, but then again it's not any different from any real sport--(American) football is just a bunch of guys running back and forth if you have no context. Regardless of whether you like SC2, however, its presentation and relationship to spectator sports just makes it a better game to watch. That's never going to change.
