If it isn't suited to competitive play, why are they trying to use it for competitive play? That does not compute to me. It's like someone complaining their Honda Accord isn't a very good Chevy Silverado, so they mangle a bed onto the back of their Accord, and then continue to complain they don't have a good pickup truck. If you want a pickup truck, get a pickup truck. If you want a game designed for competitive play, get a game designed for competitive play, don't mangle one and continue to bitch it wasn't designed for it. Please, explain this argument to me. Explain it to me like I'm stupid. You're good at being arrogant and thinking everyone who doesn't follow your line of thinking is stupid. I'm sure you'll even throw in a witty image.
