I understand the problem you described with Halo. I just have trouble undertanding how anyone can keep watching a Starcraft game as it progresses. It kills my eyes with confusing blandness and gnaws at my soul with boredom. After 30 seconds, I always move on to something else. I've played lots of Age of Empires and love it. I figure Starcraft is similar to that. Is it not? I do not choose to watch AOE unless I'm playing it. Boring activity to watch over someones shoulder. I much rather watch an FPS game than an RTS.
