I don't think they're going to change it outright. The wording there makes it sound as if they intend to expound upon it, add more detail and clarity, and I think that's appropriate. Changing the events would be a little much, but the problems with the ending aren't so much what happens as how it's portrayed.
I, uh, guess you'll have to wait until you play through it to get what that means.
