| Question about cinematic quality.... | |

In Response To: Got Halo 4 Questions? POST 'EM HERE (Louis Wu) When you say you are going for a more cinematic approach what do YOU mean by that? Ask one game company and they will have a different answer. What influences are you using to inhance cinematic quality ie: Uncharted 3, Half Life 2, Crysis 2, Assassins Creed etc.? Uncharted makes use of change in camera angles (not necessarily useful in a FPS but Reach manage a small attempt with assassinations.) brilliant voice work and player interaction all in one. Are you trying anything similar? Next how are you planning on inhancing the narrative... I love the books don't get me wrong, however as Frankie said there needs to be a greater emphasis on story in game. Any examples of how you will be attempting that? (Flashbacks, change in characters etc.) And final question, how are you going to make Master Chief out to be the badass spartan that he is? Halo wars was the only Halo game that showed Spartans to be the warriors that they really are, other than that only Red vs. Blue in the CGI sequences have actually shown just how lethal Spartans are (Not saying tex, and Carolina are Spartans but you get what I mean.)
