I can't quite describe it, but I've viewed the saved films of multiple games and it's pretty clear as it's happening, but the DMR's effects in TU against the Banshee, Revenant, and Warthog are markedly different. They get shoved around far more powerfully than in standard Reach (the Warthog is shoved all over regardless, but it gets amplified), and they also explode much faster (and I'm not talking about due to increased rate of fire, but it's like something changed with how the bullets impact the vehicles on TU). The worst part about this is that it seems to be somewhat random. Sometimes the Banshee will be on fire in just a few shots, whereas other times it will take way more. It's almost like bleedthrough's odd inconsistency at times.
