Don't play favorites here kid tsunami :) Bungie didn't really favor any group in particularly and created one of their best balanced and least-host tainted Halo games. It wasn't perfect and it had its balancing issues and other flaws, but it works fantastically. This notion that the TU somehow balances things better and is loved by the hardcore and not the casual is actually a backwards representation of the way things actually are. I've purposely tried to avoid the casual vs hardcore argument when it comes to the TU, but while some hardcore players definitely do like it (maybe something about how it takes less skill and more luck and the bleedthrough glitch is involved, and we all know how the "hardcore" love their glitches yo [bxr amirite/!?/1/1 <- talk about opening another can of worms]), there's an overall negative impact of the TU on vehicles, on 1v1 situations, and leading to deaths wouldn't even occur in a game like Halo 3 under identical circumstances (BR or no BR).
