"Vanilla Reach is still available" is already a : farce at this point, so for that sentence to be true it'd have to mean : some playlists are going back to Vanilla settings. FYI. There are still people, amongst my peers, that are asking what the TU means. They just play (a lot) because they like Halo. One guy even needed to be coached on how to change controller sensitivity. He's played 3000, games in Competitive MM. Way more than me. Sometimes it is more satisfying to be oblivious to stuff like the TU.
