Impose limitations on the right team and you're sure to get interesting results. A good strategy game could, potentially, be created for a console. I still hold that the difference in interface between console and PC is significant enough that it's wasted potential to develop an RTS exclusively for that platform. Turn-based could work just fine. I don't think there's any other genre in which the gap is so vast. While I prefer shooters on PC, I don't think they lose a lot when ported or developed for console. There's just too much about how we build RTS gamed that doesn't jive with a controller.
