Not to mention what you're talking about is needed against an AI that can execute simultaneous commands across an entire map at once. In Halo Wars, the AI is limited to a single screen like you are and must "look around" the map like you do, so being able to do cross-map micromanagement would make the game hilariously easy against AI in multiplayer. At no point in Wars are you at a disadvantage due to your controls.
