I don't have a dedicated video card, this is just out of the box, but as powerful a PC as I've ever had. Basically, the program is unable to save a file. It tries and says it's run out of memory. I added the C drive as a scratch file thinking that could take up the slack, but it didn't change a thing. I've never tried to place that many objects in Illustrator before. I think I'm hotting a wall with the app, not necessarily the PC. It was thousands of shapes, literally. The funny thing was, it managed to save the file once but then I couldn't alter it further. The plan was to add too many stars then start deleting them until I had a nice spiral pattern galaxy. Less objects = less file size, but Illustrator couldn't handle it.
