In Response To: Re: All this said... (DEEP NNN) : To name a few. : I like dual wielding. A lot. I loved H2's take on it the most - SMG + H2 Magnum rocked. Dual Needlers was a whole level of awesome on its own. : Didn't quite understand the logic of Sword blocking without a Sword. Me neither. : Didn't like the combined Camo plus radar jammer. I loved the independent Halo
Yeah, Camo is kind of pointless if you let everyone know you have it.... : I like the Halo 3 Flare. I think that thing blinded me when I used it more often than when enemies used it! : I prefer the Brute Shot over the Grenade Launcher (Pro pipe (LOL)) ;) : Generally like equipment over some of the AA. I like Sprint since Reach moves so slow. Jetpack is a cool idea, but it kind of breaks some of the maps. : Dislike Evade. Also, Spartans look stooopid while doing so.
Evade is cool for Elites, but it's overpowered on Spartans, especially small maps. I've always been more of a fan of everyone starting with the same guns and the same traits. Weapon and Ability powerups should be won on the battlefield. Reach's loadouts tried to mesh COD/BF classes with regular Halo and it doesn't work as well as I had hoped. : But I was willing to let them be until, well, you know what happened. Well, yeah. Let's just hope Halo 4 is pure awesome sauce. : I looked at it from this point of view.
I guess what we disagree on is whether COD players are migrating due to weariness or actual interest and enjoyment of the TU. As time goes on, if Reach continues to grow, would we be safe in attributing that growth to the TU? If the trade between COD and Reach is and has been constant, what other reason could be attributed to the (hypothetical) future growth?
