In Response To: Re: All this said... (DEEP NNN) For those who get confused in MM, if you like the TU, then figure out what playlists are TU and stick with those. If you don't like the TU, stick to the other ones. This is a guaranteed way to never be confused again. :) : I believe they nailed REACH's default sandbox perfectly : I do not like the default sandbox 100% Ok, maybe I'm misinterpreting, but those two statements seem like the contradict each other a bit. Maybe you meant something different. : The population has not improved because of the TU. All positive changes since
Couldn't "ingress from other FPS titles" be the result of the new changes in Reach? Reach is actually the older game compared to MW3 and BF3, so why switch to the old game if not for the new changes? I know many of Tied The Leader's members are playing more and more Halo solely because of the TU. Some even bought CEA just because they wanted the new maps for the TU playlists. While this does not a global trend make, I don't understand how Halo can grow in popularity if the TU is in fact very unpopular. In fact, an argument could be made that there is a correlation between the effects of Halo: CEA+the TU's spread and the increase in Halo population since November. It's hard to separate the effects of one over the other, but I would expect as time goes along to see the CEA campaign be played less and less. If the Halo population stays the same or even increases over the coming months, and since the TU has taken over a majority of the playlists, I would conclude that the TU would be responsible for retaining, if not increasing Reach's influx. But further population samples would be necessary to see if the trend continues. And since you said you won't be taking those samples anymore, perhaps you would be willing to let others carry on this process?
