Another big problem with Trueskill is that it seems to think 2 bad players + 2 good players = 4 mediocre players. I have a k/d* of just above 2 and I often (when playing alone) get matched up with people who have a k/d under 1. More often than not they're on my team to balance out my k/d of 2. Stuff like that is just frustrating to no end. *I know k/d isn't the only factor that trueskill uses but it's the closest we can currently get to seeing how skilled someone is.
