I think you are flat out wrong here. MM and trueskill are doing their job. BTB is, and always has been a challenge for the TS system because it takes many, many games for the system to classify you because of the size of the teams. Opposed to regular team slayer where it only needs to match you with 7 other people in your skill range, it now needs to do that with 15 people. And that, is assuming you go in solo and only get matched with randoms. What happens when you join in a full party of 8 with skill ranging from very low to very high? Trueskill is going first try to search for another full party of 8, and try to get the skill as close as possible. If it can't it generally seems to match randoms that are in the middle or average skill level of the 'partied' team as it were. : I find that I'm often matched with groups of randoms that my team and I can
Here is a sample of the last 10 slayer based BTB games that Team HBO (full party of 8) has played. Not one, of these games did we play an opposing team of a party of 8. The most in a party has been 4, some times a few groups of 2. People usually start to quit once we get about 15 kills ahead or so.

No matter how bad 343 could possibly break Reach, TS will compensate and group players of equal to similar skill based on the rules it has to play by. There are a lot of people that don't like the TU because they are getting matched against people that are too good at it or too bad, give it time, and you won't have to worry about it because TS will eventually match you with players that fit in your range, it just needs to catch you. If anything, enjoy the steamrolling while you can because eventually it will catch you.
