Unless its elite slayer (there, everyone has one anyway so its fair) there tend to only be a few NR's spread over a map... Why not treat it as a "power" specialty weapon like the GL, CR or needler?

Yes, there is barely any (if any) Bloom with it....but the same is true of the DMR if you crouch. The NR is also useless against vehicles, even combined NR fire won't do much to a Banshee in Elite slayer, but a DMR does. So, yeah, 343 borked the NR...and a lot of other things....what else is new at this point?

And even then, I don't see what all the fuss is about because bleed through is still going to be there regardless at this point. I mean, what are they going to do? Tweak the damage per round for the NR? Why bother? there are so many other things that in my opinion could use the attention like playlist management, new firefight stuff and picking one frickin standard flavor for Reach and sticking to it.

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that 343 is not interested in giving Reach MM the love and attention that people are asking for. Others have commented or theorized that 343 is using Reach MP as testing grounds for Halo 4 and I gotta say, I'm starting to think the same myself. I don't think they are going to spend the time and effort for this little stuff to get it perfectly balanced, 50/50. If they can get it 47/53 or 48/52 or 49/51 they seem content to just "let it ride" because I'd imagine they have bigger fish to fry (Halo 4).

Lastly, I'm not saying that RC or anyone who agrees or disagrees is right or wrong; I just don't see why this matters. I have not ran into NR abuse in MM, in any TU playlist, and even if one person was I don't think its hard to stop them.
