With less bloom, it also takes less time for : the reticule to reset for the pacer, allowing a quicker ROF. It's possible : that the quicker ROF for the pacer outweighs the smaller reticule for the : spammer. 85% would definitely clean up pacing for those that haven't mastered it all the way, as the reticule does reset sooner. However, I pace differently in 85% because I know the reticule is resetting faster. I'm still exceeding the originally designed optimal firing pace for the DMR, and this is especially apparent at long ranges. But people that have just been spamming get 100% rewarded from the change, from the face that the reticule resets faster. Which is why they should have adjusted the percieved bloom by changing the RoF, not the bloom itself.
