Who would read the letter in terminal 7?
Speaking of which, did you give any thought to how MB would sound in his message to the Chief? Wu's question of difficulty levels is the most relevant here, as he says you're not ready unless you play on Legendary; I wouldn't want to shove it into some other spot, and I wouldn't want to leave it out either, but I'd prefer that to putting it where it doesn't belong, but then that's me.
What about the occasional text on the left side of terminals (this is also especially relevant right here because of MB announcing himself in the left side IIRC)?
What about Cortana's terminal (the one on the infested High Charity)? What about her audio transmissions in that level (Cortana)? You might think all that's outside the scope or if you do that you might as well do all the Cortana moments which would be kind of pointless and I agree with the last part but I'd say her little audio transmissions, especially the one where there's (limited) interaction with the Gravemind are a bit like radio play snippets and a bit like the terminals, and fairly important.
Also, for the Gravemind voice, I have an idea: you could have one main voice providing the backbone of the delivery and have all the other vocal contributors (maybe as many people as you can find) doing the same lines layered over that quietly (you'd want them all at the same speed, of course, which could be tricky). You could even increase the background voices for... some effect, it could be any pretty much effect theoretically. I was particularly thinking of increasing them over time, especially after it becomes evident what the mysterious entity is (i.e., the Gravemind, the voice of the Flood).
Well, some things to think about, and my offer of my voice is still valid.
