Just so people can fire the DMR faster. When I see Microsoft putting more advertising effort and support behind Gears of War 3, a game they don't even OWN, than their own Halo series, why the hell should I give them the benefit of the doubt? When they can actually sit down, support one of their games WITHOUT outsourcing it, and actually commit to finishing the job I'll start giving them freebies. As it stands, the bug would have been tolerable if bleedthrough had been confined to the Halo 1 simulation. Now they're trying to peddle that shit into the rest of the game that wasn't designed around it at ALL, try to be cute by claiming they returned the pistol to pre-TU behavior (they didn't), and seem to be completely ignoring the very vocal thread about bleedthrough on their own forums but apparently have no problem falling over themselves to please a vocal minority on other forums. At this point Microsoft can make one of two decisions: either they pony up the time and money and ship Reach 1.2 with bugfixes, or the TU can be repealed. They split up and left us an indecisive mess of a game and the LEAST Microsoft could do is come back and finish the job.
