See, this is part of my problem with it. If they had taken the time to rework the entire sandbox then maybe I could see their way, and I'd just adapt and change.

But what it comes off as is that they did some things that the internet wanted, and then stopped there and just shipped that as their TU. It's half done. They completely avoided fixing any actual bugs, and made more. They went all the way to the point where they broke LAN compatibility, and didn't do anything to tweak the Banshee. It feels like they just used Reach (and another developer's game) for practice. If they thought bleed through was better, they should have waited for Halo 4 because then the game would be designed around it. Hammering it into Reach was silly.

I'm starting to wonder that if PP Stun and No Fall Damage had made the cut, would those have been wedged into the TU settings as well? Would removing fall damage been a 'fair trade', as some of these other people are saying, just to be able to shoot the DMR faster? Because since it currently comes off as them being a package deal, I'm almost assuming it was. They talked about all these features that would help enable the Halo 1 & 2 classic mode simulation and then it feels like they're trying to sneak them into the rest of matchmaking.

But it's not like they care, they'll be selling Halo 4 within 10 months and Reach will be put into autopilot and left to die.
