Why does he seem so : naive about what is going on? Why does he always call us : "Reclaimers" when he is one himself? : - A distinct lack of empathy in the Halo trilogy itself. : I loved the last few chapters of the book (I'm horrible at drawing mental : pictures, so the first two-thirds weren't so great for me), but this feels : too clever by half to be true... Agreed, it doesn't quite add up, and there was quite a strong theme of deception and illusion throughout the book. It honestly infuriated me at times how the characters were being manipulated and used, even to the end. I SO yearned for some closure for Chakas and Vinnerva, not to mention to learn her true name!
