People have been complaining about the TU settings in numerous threads ever since it was first released. Overall I greatly prefer the TU settings. Matches feel much faster and people who make bad decisions get punished more often. The only problem I have with the TU gametype is bleedthrough but I'll happily accept that if it means not having to play 100% bloom. After playing 85% it's hard to go back to 100%.

I dislike the entire shot-pacing thing anyway. It just slows down gameplay and that becomes painfully obvious when you switch between TU and vanilla Reach. It also limits the influence of an individual player. Having to pace your shots while you're fighting off 2 players can be a pain. With less bloom you have a chance to take out at least one guy before dying.

In the end bleedthrough is probably the biggest cause for complaints. Combined with the slow shield recharge rate it just feels inconsistent (even though it technically isn't). It just sucks when you still have your shields only to die from a single shot. This becomes especially apparent if you're getting shot just while your shields are recharging. I've been killed by a single shot even though my shields were half full again. I really wish we could have a gametype without bleedthough. I think a lot of people would prefer TU over vanilla Reach that way.
