Halo 4 teaser may not be canon

The teasers weren't canon.

I'm guessing the Halo 4 teaser is just showing off the fact that the Master Chief will have new armour, some new abilities and some new weapons. I'm assuming the beginning of the game won't be the same as the teaser, in the sense that he won't exit wearing the new armour. It's possible, but based upon the announcement videos for Halo 2 and 3, I'm going to assume that the pattern will continue.
