Simply terrific. No, I'm serious.

A part of me is sitting there and going "What... but... that's so... NO DON'T... But... ARRGH! IT'S SIMPLE!" I wish you could see my hands instinctively twitch as I watched this.

And yet, I smiled the entire time. Gender doesn't matter; here were two people who knew nothing about the game trying things that are challenging to them. They're laughing, they're having a good time just experiencing the game and not treating their failures as a negative comment to their skill.

Maybe I'm just being oddly introspective tonight, but this was really nice to see. Because we've all been there once. It's nice to see somebody else say "I didn't know I could do that, I was just hitting buttons!" And kudos to Jack for being (mostly) supportive to them instead of berating them.

As an aside, Kathleen doesn't sound like I expected her to. I guess I'm used to voice actresses who sound like completely different people when they talk in their normal voices.
