No, it's an implication talk like this doesn't mesh with them being one. : What? I didn't realize that 343i was giving *you* a game that you had : specifically reached out to them and asked for including a list of : requirements that they completely ignored. Some other people seem to be operating under that kind of impression, but I'm just saying I don't understand why they're acting like the original sound isn't an option, and I have no clue why they're not sticking with it if they think it's better (hence the asterisk, I was referring to Frankie's quote) and they know a lot of the fans agree it's better (and a lot of the non-fans, for that matter). I was unaware of any sound fidelity issues with the original Xbox version-- if they want to re-orchestrate orchestral songs, I guess that's OK, even if I'd prefer they didn't, if they want to improve some of the foley work, I don't really mind, but I was under the impression the sound effects for things like reloading a weapon or throwing a grenade were just as intended, and I liked them the way they were-- I like the newer versions to (to varying degrees), but those were in different games, and this is supposed to be effectively the same.
