It's much nicer : walking in, getting the game, and getting out within ten minutes instead : of standing in line for two hours at Gamestop. Another alternative would : be Amazon. They usually have release date shipping available for $.99 on : most titles. If they happen to have this pre-order bonus you could always : go that route. Huh. The Gamestop here has you show up sometime before 8 or 9 PM (can't remember which), pay any remaining balance for your game, and then they give you an initialed receipt with pre-order info on it. From there you can wait in line or go do whatever and come back just before midnight. Sure, if you leave you're stuck in the back of the line, but since all you have to do is walk in, hand them your receipt, they hand you your box, and walk out. Takes like 10 minutes or less to get through everyone. Most the time I'll just wait in line with a friend. Met a lot of neat people at midnight launches, actually. My favorite was the Wii launch, everyone there was super, super nice!
