In Response To: Re: Just a reference for the drawing dudes (Stephen L. (SoundEffect)) : I was going to make scale charts for the animals I do have models for. This would be awesome. I'm gonna be getting pretty crazy with the amount of animals I'm throwing into this, so we're gonna have to get creative with determining relative sizes. And let's make it a regular human, not a Spartan or anything like that. ZackDark, my plan is to have at least one image showing the creature in a completely natural pose, giving the feel for the animal if you were to encounter it in the wild. Then have more of the scientific sketches like anatomical studies and whatnot done as rough sketches. Skeletal structure, defining characteristics, etc... like you said. :) I want the main focus to be both on the artwork and on the in-depth study of these creatures.
I do think every animal should contain one of Loftus' scale references in the bottom corner of the page.
