I had to prove that one to Vociferous that the Halo 2 and in-fight Halo 3 ones were just half-sized models for cutscenes only. Both times we could get close enough to get in or on a Longsword it was the biggie size. The different variants was created to justify an early error in the novels versus Bungie's Reach designation.
