(SoundEffect)) : I could as easily say that was a Forerunner design consideration and use Halo : 1's island location as my 'evidence'. That's circular. You've inferred a design consideration from the geography, and then you're using the design consideration to support your judgment about the geography. If 343i is now the arbiter of Halo canon, and they follow Staten's rule that new overrides old (and I can't imagine they wouldn't) then HCEA's mountains are just as valid as Halo 4's jets, which mean we may expect even more changes in the future.
