Kind of where a beam tower would be shooting to the other side of : the ring. Ah, okay. I think I was thinking of SC and AotCR, but that would have been a bit of a stretch, because I don't really think it would have been practical to circumnavigate the entire ring from inside the superstructure. However, since the Chief and 343 teleport in and out of the Library, it can literally be anywhere on the ring. There are no exteriors by which to guess where it is, unlike in Halo 2 where there are, strewn around the game, cues that indicate that other locations are nearby or at least within view.
