: When I first saw that image and that phrase, I didn't think it was Cortana : saying it. I mean you can take it as Cortana saying it, and that makes : sense, but I didn't see it that way. It's almost like an outside third : party is now telling him to wake up. How do they know his name, then? Be it a Forerunner AI or the 'Planet' : or a person outside of the story entirely. The time for dreams and rest is : over, something BIG is about to happen. Honestly, if this image was : released without the trailer, I wouldn't have thought that line came from : Cortana at all. (It still might not be.) Really? With this scene following on immediately after the end of Halo 3 where Cortana calls him "John" instead of Master Chief for the first time within the games? With this image coming out right after the teaser in which she repeats that name several times? C'mon, man. It's a stretch to think anything else. : In that context, I love the line paired with that image. It gives off such a : sinister vibe. Sorry if my post comes of as confusing or redundant. I'm : having difficulty explaining how I perceive the image. :) Okay. What's sinister about it?
