For that matter, why : would you do it in Reach? The Reach pistol doesn't need to be adjusted : either, it doesn't have any reticle travel like most of the previous : weapons and the inaccuracy seems to be too random to be worth trying to : predict. The only thing to do is to maintain your aim and wait for the : reticle to close in to a size you're comfortable with. : I suspect a not-insignificant part of people not liking reticle bloom is that : it's harder to aim precisely with a larger reticle-- why do you think the : one for the sniper rifle is so small? You could probably write a function : that relates accuracy with reticle size as it approaches infinity, which : would be no reticle. Halo 1 pistol fights were all about predicting where the next shout would go. After an amount of time you could feel where the next shot was going to be placed depending on your movement. In Reach it feels to be randomized (and the enlarging reticule gets in the way a far bit).
