At this rate, we might have to wait another 10 years because of Frankie's apprehension towards splitting the player base of whatever current Halo game there is. And now that we're getting another trilogy, Halo 6 might not be out until 2018 so 2020 is the earliest we could see Halo 1's MP on XBL. I guess 20 years after the original's release isn't too long to wait for the chance that those of us whose only option for online gaming is XBL might be able to play H1's MP online. *headdesk*

Unless 343i really does something to wow me at PAX, HCEA won't be something I buy new. $40 for half of Halo 1 and a Reach map pack is raw deal as far as I'm concered. New graphics, online co-op, and terminals for Campaign don't quite cut it. I already have the Campaign, and it still looks great. What I don't have is the ability to play H1 MP over XBL with my friends, and it's the only thing I really wanted from a re-release.
