: My knowledge of the English language. Not porting it is removing it.

: talking about "removing it during the porting process". You're

The porting process doesn't necessarily include that part of the game. This is a different product anyway that doesn't by definition include any single given thing from an older product-- it does include a critical minimum of things, but necessarily any specific thing. Anyway anyway, though, I said I could see how someone could see it that way. When you said it was removed I thought you were refuting me on my own terms, i.e., removed post-port, and I was mistaken.
I think the way the semantics are taken can say something about the viewpoints of those arguing, and your comment seems like support of that. If things were different I'd probably think (and there's a good chance I'd say) it speaks of entitlement, but in this case I think it's just wanting what you and some others want and not caring about what else is or isn't present, and that's understandable, it's human nature; the thing to recognize is not everyone's priorities will line up, both within the fans and within the content producers and adapters, and the mutliplayer element is the most questionable one to copy over (unless you just hate The Library that much). I fully submit it might be nice to have XBL multiplayer and I would've liked to be able to play custom games with the original maps or even just LAN games and I'd like to know why that option wasn't included, but this fervor, and if I may say, this attitude, or something about it, seems unwarranted.
