"Short end of the stick" was just a light-hearted phrase; don't get the wrong idea and think I'm being bitter about it. It's disappointing, but in retrospect entirely predictable. Given that they only want one version of the gameplay, it's only to be expected that they'd aim at preserving NTSC/PC behaviour with its faster needler and whatnot, rather than PAL behaviour. I guess the NTSC/PC crowd could now joke that CEA will allow us PAL folk to finally get up to speed, ho ho. : You're just finally getting the stick you deserved 10 years ago. Huh? I wasn't even on the forum ten years ago.
