So you've completely discounted the visual upgrade? I'm not disagreeing, just pointing it out. : This leaves number 2. : It's a no brainer that XBL multiplayer would have been a killer feature and
: Not only was this not included, but multiplayer via LAN was REMOVED. Ports
You've left out network coop entirely. Is there a reason for this? : The more I think about it, this is nothing more than a numbers game for
I think this is only a distinction for users who don't have a hard drive, or can't install the maps to it. I can't imagine they wouldn't figure out some way to pool the maps for Reach users already have with the ones that come with HCEA so that regardless of what disc you're using, you get access to all the Reach maps you own. That, I sort of agree with. Although the removal of LAN/WAN multiplayer affects me not one bit, the price point for visual upgrade/online coop does make me feel as if my loyalty is being tested in a way that, say, the ODST price point did not (although others did feel the same way about that). I feel as if my "you know you're going to buy it anyway" circuit is being engaged, and it isn't pleasant.
