Then you should have written him a personal email. This is a forum. Not 343i's corporate site and not your personal blog. The topic of the thread may be your question to Frankie, but that in no way restricts anybody but Frankie from posting in it, speculating on the answer, or commenting on your question. There's no need to afford me the same courtesy because I don't generally use the forum for posting something if I'm not willing to read through what anyone else might be willing to say about it-- whether they agree or not. It is just as valid for me to speculate as it is for you to ask or for Frankie to answer-- or not answer as the case may be, because frankly, the reason why I bother to write how I think things end up happening the way they do is because it would be exceedingly bad PR to actually say how things get done. If I write how I think what they've done is a reasonable business decision, people might be able to understand why things get done in a way that seems incomprehensible to them, but on the other hand, nobody at 343i or Bungie or anybody else actually has to come out and admit that they don't care what you want out of a game-- or, rather, that so many people want so many things from a single game that they can't all be satisfied at once by a product that comes in on-time and under budget.
