It felt like they were : designed for when fall damage was in the game and the pre-patch BR. Fall : damage and BR becomes more accurate than the sniper in a patch.. Burial : Mounds/Warlock/Foundation became killing floors. That was more of a gameplay issue rather than a problem with the maps. If the game was not oversaturated with SMG Starts and Bungie had the forsight to realise that Dual Wielding and the removal of the Assualt Rifle was a bad idea then Halo 2's gameplay could have been better than it was. Of course Microsoft ended up having to force Bungie to finish the game since Bungie botched the games development by that time.
