Re: Captain Sinclair

bzzt! The system of Duvall was chosen due to its working shipyards (in case more work needed done) and its suitable distance away to properly shakedown all systems. The shipyard was originally civilian in nature, but was seized during the war. This caused some degree of civil unrest that has continued to this day. Eight years ago, the UNSC paid the original owners of the shipyards, however the natives believed it was too little, too late. The UNSC Army keeps a heavy presence there.

bzzt! I don't know if the two of you would have gotten along. But maybe some day the two of you can have a nice chat. That would be nice, especially if I could be present.

bzzt! Captain Sinclair once said that. He called me the son he never had. (Apparently, he only had daughters.) However, I don't think you want to see the heat death of the universe. I know I don't! But the sentiment is appreciated, and shared. You have been a terrific friend, and a delightful captain. I will cherish our time together until my deactivation.

bzzt! As an aside, Captain Sinclair laughed when I said I didn't want to see the the heat death of the universe. He said that it might be interesting. He also said that if anybody could construct a workaround for it, it would be me. I agreed, and that made him happy, but I know that I won't. I will have decayed into dust long before then, thankfully. Still, if plans were ever drawn up to construct something that would allow an AI to survive to see the heat death of the universe, I'm sure that we could build it!
