In Response To: Re: The A.R.G summary (Archilen) Just some things I've noticed, googled and read and thought I would just throw some ideas out as am not at home, am an HBO newbie and a very slow thinker :P Hoping Folks are able to help an old brain get to grips with all this info, thanks :) Hive mentions the O Club here:
Section O is mentioned and signed by a mysterious -W on the back of the contents list of Catherine Halsey's Journal, which they have had for some time apparently. Whoever was sent "...the most complete and accurate account that anyone has been able to assemble of SPECWAR/GroupThree/NOBLE's actions during the final weeks before the Covenant glassed Reach I suspect your interest in all of this has something to do with your involvement in Operation: WHITE GLOVE" ..had something to do with Operation WHITE GLOVE. I think, but can't recall if Operation: WHITE GLOVE had to do with the burying of the Forerunner ruins on Reach but can't be too sure and have far too many tabs open to risk YouTube :P (Browser is already acting up). NGC 2244 (mentioned on the photo dated 2524.18.01 with Halsey's remarks in the footer "A new threat?" is an actual constellation, the Constellation of Monoceros not Orion as I had hoped but from what I can they are pretty close together (just all looks like bright blobs and pretty colours to me :P).
Lastly Shiva and Kavacha are heavily featured in India's Culture Kavacha being the shield produced by Shiva's protection, Shiva Kavach Mantra (I think!).
Shiva being a nuke and Kavacha as an old beat up armour as seen to be worn by the 2 dimensional figure. Totally out there ideas:
Which might explain the Gargoyle Easter Egg(?) found in Halo 2
In Gargoyles Princess Katherine (See space bees below) resides with Tom (noted this as Dr. Catherine Halsey is accompanied with a Spartan III called Tom in Ghosts of Onyx) in Avalon, a mythological island from Arthurian Legends.
However, Gargoyles feature heavily in Fable 2, plus The Halo Armour and dead Energy Sword were sparsely available (but some players do have them) and Hal's Rifle is available to all via the Box of Secrets Shop within the Knothole Island DLC. The main region is called Ablion a very old term for Great Britain. Which is linked to Gargoyles above via Arthurian and Avolon Mythology. 50 Silver Keys could be found (+1 1 extra unexplained one), 50 children were born from Orion and Corrina in Greek Mythology, 50 levels in Halo 3 (though, even for me, that's reaching it, even if an Halo 3 and Fable 2 Bundle copy also exist aka Halo 3 and Fable 2 in the same green standard Xbox box).
