I think. Fuck, where am I? I disagree with your post, but not for the reasons you mentioned. The Arena really hasn't kicked off and you can clearly see that with player populations. This is from a whole multitude of reasons but I have mentioned a few of those already. The 1-50 system wasn't perfect but neither is the Arena system, and the CR system has just led to an influx of afk'ers. I have given you my reasons for my opinions so playing it off as me just being a dense 1-50 fan who isn't going to change his mind no matter what doesn't work here. As far as the trueskill situation, that's a whole nother point completely, Trueskill has always been just as good/ bad at matching players up, but its the effects of changes to the front end which effects players perceptions. You have come across as very pro Arena and very anti 1-50 but I totally understand that the Trueskill system that runs in the background to match players isnt to blame. Its the front end that changed and they changed it for the worse as far as im concerned. What im trying to say is that I agree that "Trueskill as a skill matching service instead of a rank service" could work, but the Arena was an awful attempt at it.
