In Response To: Re: But CR = Idlers Paradise (FyreWulff) Woe is the lack of editing for me, but I forgot to add my last line: the whole gist of how Reach's Arena and ranking system works has definitely killed the black market, but the execution of how it has been presented can be tweaked in order to bring the population up, certainly. But I still think that going back to using Trueskill as a visible indicator of skill would instantly resurrect the black market and would be a step backwards when multitudes of developers are no longer using it as such. If people want 1-50, they can use the Reach Stats API, make a website, and have it download and crunch your stats and have it try to figure out your Halo 3 Reach Rank. HaloCharts does this. Because that is what it is, trying to apply Halo 3's heavily modified Trueskill as an indicator of what Reach thinks your TS is, which is probably going to be considerably different.
