I don't think I agree with it - if we all played Halo the : way we'd fight in a real battle, the games would be REALLY boring, I think : - but it's a worthwhile thought to keep in your head as you're deciding : what your next move is. :) I disagree; I don't think it would necessarily make the games boring, but I guess that depends on your definition of the word. It would certainly make the games slower than they are, because more strategy, thinking and planning is involved, which is just plain slower than runnin'n'gunnin'. Now, if that is boring to you, then alright, I guess it's boring. Objectively, the games would be a little slower, and in my experience they're usually shorter, since you don't have everyone respawning all over the place. It's really just like playing a game of "One Life to Live". I know it's probably been a while since we all played one of those, but try and think back to those games; everyone is a LOT more cautious! But that doesn't mean "not fun", at least not to me.
