Agreed. This is one of the many things that bothered me as well. The number of colonies in the system given in Contact Harvest seemed like a lot (Tribute, Reach, Circumstance), but then the Encyclopedia added the ones that were stated to be separate systems in TFoR, for no real reason whatsoever. Also, Evolutions made Beta Gabriel habitable.

Just how many habitable planets does the system allegedly have right now?
