I really don't get what people expect.

In Response To: Old halo games remake by 343 industries? (hotshot revan) Halo 1 is amazing in its timeless simplicity, it's simple and highly stylized color and lighting schemes, and its semi-retro but highly functional and entertaining AI and animation structure. In other words, things that most high-budget developer practically ignore because the competitive demand to be hyperrealistic. A remake would probably be good, but it would probably lack everything that makes HCE special. It would probably wind up like ODST; I would buy it, it would be quite good, and it would probably have much more playability than most games, but it would ultimately be lacking in the timeless charm and playability that keeps my classic xbox employed.
