In Response To: Re: End of Prototype *Legends spoils* (Bry) : They don't play in chronological order, nor are there really any clues for : time frame in most of the episodes. : Its specifically said by Frankie in the commentary in one of the episodes : that overall they don't really want people concentrating so much on : specific dates, and putting them in wasn't really important compared to : the individual stories. So its somewhat ambiguous on purpose. : Given how many people have been asking about dates in regard to Legends, I : can see what he meant, lol. :P That's one way to look at it, but I have to disagree on it. Giving a date wouldn't really make me concentrate solely on the timeframe or blind me from the story. It'd just be a nice touch, making it easier to picture the episodes in the larger timeline. As for them not being important, I still disagree for the aforementioned reason. I just hope this isn't the direction Halo's going for in the future. The Cole Protocol already departed from the format of the previous books. I think that is what really detracts from the story, when you have to start wondering when it takes place. It's frustrating, and it's not like giving a story a timeframe is impossibly hard.
