In Response To: SHISHKA, OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN (Miguel Chavez) : Please add "QUIT" to this menu Just to pick up on something, phrasing things as QUIT would probably be ruled out for the following good reason. Many people would hit QUIT assuming it would save their progress so far, which is entirely reasonable and intuitive, especially to non-technical folk. As such, they'd be mightily annoyed to later discover that their progress has been lost. Complaints would ensue, yadda yadda yadda. To make things properly clear to safeguard against that, the option needs to be phrased as QUIT WITHOUT SAVING (which I'm sure you'll be just as happy with). The only way it would be viable to have just the word QUIT would be if the game then checked with you about whether you want to save your last checkpoint (if you've had one since your last saved checkpoint), analogous to the way a computer program will ask whether you want your changes saved. However, probably the vast majority of players would want their progress saved, so for them this would be an annoying extra button-push to have to confirm that YES they want progress saved. There would doubtless also be players wondering why they're even being asked, mystified as to why the game wouldn't just save their progress automatically. For these reasons, Bungie wouldn't want it. So I think that completely rules out the phrasing QUIT.
