For me, the shields seem as powerful. Or at least, the Covenant are : easily capable of producing even more powerful armor systems than the : MJOLNIR. : But yeah, I guess the engineers could've gotten something out of that armor
To be honest, after the special features in Legends talking about it, I hold First Strike in even lower regard than before as the whole idea of that novel doesn't seem to have been remotely conceived of by Bungie or the Story Bible. But none the less, its an example of consistency and with some of the big topics we've had on that subject as of late, it seems worth highlighting.
