In Response To: Re: End of Prototype *Legends spoils* (Bry) : Not so, the Engineers absorb the know how of whatever they come across and : there is a fair chance they will integrate it in whatever they see fit. As : an entity, they have no concept of heresy, just technology. : Remember the notion of killing an Engineer that had repaired John's armour in : case it took that knowledge back to the Covenant? : Its actually a case of them being consistent with established events. In the books, primarily First Strike and that scene, I never actually understood the statement the MJOLNIR was more advanced than an Elite armor. For me, the shields seem as powerful. Or at least, the Covenant are easily capable of producing even more powerful armor systems than the MJOLNIR. But yeah, I guess the engineers could've gotten something out of that armor since it seems far more advanced than anything the Covenant have.
