Read what he says again, he says nothing about the Xbox "not working that way." What he points out is that the game doesn't work that way. "Save and Quit" is a bit of a misnomer. Game saves are based on reaching checkpoints in the game. When you see "Checkpoint Reached" on your screen, that means your game save has been updated. When you quit from the menu, the game does not create a checkpoint, then save it, it simply ends your session, and when you resume you pick up from your last saved checkpoint. To put it another way, I have no idea why you would kick to Dashboard or power down your box instead of simply quitting, because the result will be the same: The next time you go to play, you'll pick up from your last saved checkpoint. What you're asking for isn't really "Quit Without Saving" so much as "Let Me Choose which Checkpoints I 'Save,'" but that too is a logical error because checkpoints are game saves. The closest analog to what your asking for would be the ability to turn off checkpoints while you're playing (because if you hit a checkpoint, it's already too late), but I believe all parties involved would find that solution less than satisfactory. -S
